Goldencards was an early-stage dot.com that had created a proprietary engine for allowing the trading of many types of digital trading cards. It positioned itself to convert any company’s existing cards into new more dynamic digital versions that would be assigned a value by limiting the release of each card. Goldencards allowed cards to be upgraded and traded as well as gamed against other golden cards members. Adam Halem created several prototype cards and a website on which they could be viewed. Goldencards is no longer an entity, yet its unique concept still remains in wait till the time comes when the world is ready.
